The purpose-built room adjoins\u00a0ASR&#8217;s free dispensary, and will provide invaluable blood and urine tests for helping to diagnose and manage patients attending the dispensary. As with other dispensary care, the tests are\u00a0carried out\u00a0free of charge.<\/p>\n<p>Fully equipped with a wide range of brand new\u00a0machines, equipment and reagents, the laboratory provides\u00a0various basic testing facilities, including haemoglobin,\u00a0kidney function, glucose and\u00a0lipid levels\u00a0and\u00a0tests for malaria and other infections.\u00a0A dedicated laboratory technician attends once weekly to perform the tests, which are available to all patients as per the doctors&#8217; advice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ASR&#8217;s laboratory was inaugurated on 11th April 2011, the day of the multispecialty camp at Goindwal Sahib.
