ASR sponsors needy young people through school and higher education. Many cannot afford to stay in school and then go to college or university due to poverty, which is something ASR is committed to change. The sponsorship is in the form of a grant, without the need for repayment, but is given with the hope that the sponsored young person will help others when successful, as ASR has helped them.

A total of 104 children are having their school education sponsored by ASR currently in villages across Punjab. Multiple young people have had their degrees funded wholly or partly by ASR over the years, including bachelors and masters degrees in Law, Engineering, Commerce and Computer Applications.

ASR has also supported education of children at the Central Khalsa Orphanage in Amritsar, including fitting the Orphanage’s school with a computer lab, including 15 new high-spec desktop computers, and a fully equipped library.
